DAIRY CATTLE SALE

Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Sale of Dairy cattle and young Calves at their monthly sale in Dumfries on Monday 9th February 2009.

26 Dairy Cattle and 20 Calves forward.

Demand for all classes was good and more could have been sold to advantage. The top price of £1720 was paid for a pedigree calved heifer from Mr DA Goldie, Longbridgemuir, Dumfries.
