of Dairy cattle in Dumfries on Monday 13th July 2009 kindly sponsored by
Carrs Billington.
117 Dairy Cattle forward, Included in the sale was the Stock Dispersal
of the milking portion of the herd belonging to Messrs I & A Burgess,
Maryfield, New Abbey.
Quality milky sorts were in demand whilst older,
longer calved types were more difficult to cash.
Sale topped at £1800
twice for second calvers to Johnston, Blindburn and Nelson Longrigg
