Mains of Airies Production Sale

C&D Auction held a production sale of maiden heifers and in calf 3-4 year old Hereford Cows within Dumfries Mart and on line on Monday 5th February 2024.

Renowned for maternal traits and hardiness, these outwintered females attracted both on line and ringside interest with cattle heading to Orkney and Northamptonshire,

Ervie L1 Advance led the days trade at £1900. This young cow with high maternal traits caught the eye of S&R Irving, Caldbeck who also purchased Ervie LI Achiever 103020 at £1800.
Ervie L1 Advance 203028 then sold at £1750 to C T Fleming, Larkhall.

Maiden heifers sold to £1300 for Towford L1 Achiever 303135 to I. McConnell, Kirkmahoe.
