The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. had forward
682 lots of poultry, cage birds and equipment at their sale on
Saturday 9th August 2008.
A very large crowd packed the ringside
and resulted in a brisk selling trade for all classes of stock.
The prices would be similar to the high rates of the Spring sale.
