Due to the weather conditions, The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers
Mart had forward a small show of store & breeding cattle at their
fortnightly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 5th January,
2010. Cattle still
met a brisk trade with plenty of keen bidders around the ring. Top
price of £1,020 for a Galloway cow with Blue Grey bull calf from
Cowcorse.
