The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. held their
fortnightly sale of 74 store cattle at Longtown on Tuesday 6th July,
2010.
A smaller show of store cattle was forward and saw a good show
for quality grass stirks on offer sold to an outstanding trade with
a couple of new bidders in attendance. Top price of £755 for
a Limousin bullock from A.I. & V. Smith, Westwinds, who also
sold Angus bullocks to £750.
