Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts, Longtown had their fortnightly sale of 42 store cattle on Tuesday 17th July 2018.

Although a shortage of grass, trade was dearer than expected for a nice show of cattle forward and with plenty of buyers around the ring, more are required for the next sale on Tuesday 31^st July.

Sale topped at £1,100 for two Limousin bullocks shown by CT & J Wigham & Sons, Hethermill. Heifers to £1,070 for a Limousin from NS & C Robinson, Burmoor, Wark and Limousin bulls to £910 from A & A Ewing, Dumbretton, Annan.
