Cumberland & Dumfriesshire held their Autumn Sale of 51 working collies and pups at The Hammerlands Centre, Moffat on Saturday 15th October 2011.

The usual large attendance of customers from throughout the UK were in attendance with Demand for first quality working dogs at a premium.

Topping the days trading was J Kennedy’s Black & White Dog Whiterose Flint (308126) born March 2010 by JF Atkinson ‘Dave’ out of JF Atkinson ‘Fly’ which realised 3500gns (£3675.00) to TA Temple.

Next Best 3300gns (£3465) was paid to JF Bell for Peg (310891) a Black & White Bitch from E Grey’s Roy (291124) out of M Northwood Queen (303412) purchased by J Roberts.

T Lley sold Glen (303260) at 2500gns (£3150 inc Vat) sired by C Krakowski’s Bill (291314) Dam J McNaughton’s Jess selling to K Preston

JF Bell sold JAS (309657) a Tricolor Dog at 2350gns (£2467.50) sired by P Byrne’s Max (267014) Dam T Mahon Sue (281377) to T McPhee.

R Dick then sold Meg (307798) a tricolour Bitch at 2200gns (£2310.00) from J Richardson’s Staff (267697) Dam JA Bell’s Gyp (291934).
