Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Fortnightly Sale of 815 store cattle in Dumfries on Monday 4th October 2010, which included their Autumn Sale of 184 Organic Cattle.

The Organic Cattle were presented to the usual full ringside of local and distant buyers. Numbers were scarcer, trade for suckler bred cattle met a brisk demand whilst dairy bred types were harder to sell.
